DAY 1, 2, 3, and 4

So... I flew into Detroit on the 3rd to meet up with my crew and my bus. The flight was delayed as per usual: courtesy of Newark Airport. I met up with everyone... and it was basically a reunion... I knew almost all of them from other tours we were on together... it's AWESOME! This crew is going to be rad to work with!

July 4th was a little bit of a bust. We were going to take the bus down to the city carnival so we can catch some fireworks. All we caught was traffic. We ended up driving down there with 2 cars, missed the fireworks, threw darts at a wall to see if they stick.. We won about 15 posters!

July 5th was game day... our first show. We headed down to the DTE Energy Amphitheater... that venue was really nice! It reminded me of Busch Gardens. It was about 90 degrees out and the kids were great. Our bus is ALREADY COVERED in phone numbers and graffiti. Even MOM's were signing the bus... that's fuckin weird.

Yesterday was a drive day down to Oklahoma City. We got down to OKC around 8.. we showed up at the hotel and headed downtown to grab something to eat. Well everything CLOSED except Sonic. We were walking down past Bricktown Ballpark and someone nails a homerun OUT OF THE STADIUM and almost strikes one of us. About an hour later Britton and Seth are throwing the ball to each other... and i got hit in the forehead with the ball... it was meant i guess. Around midnight Seth broke out "some" fireworks... we blew up a lot of shit in the hotel parking lot! It was awesome! A couple sirens went off and a ghetto bird was out lookin around, so we packed it in for the night. We have "some" more left... we'll save them for another night!

So today... we are taking a lazy day. We are going to meet up with some of the Jonas crew at 6 tonight for food and bowling! ROCK n ROLL!!

I'll upload more pictures after tonight! It will be worth the wait.

Surgery

So... For a couple days I had a pain in my stomach that would come and go. I figured... maybe the pains were just pockets of gas??? Finally after a couple days of this.. one night while watching Top Chef I had stronger, Sharp pains. These pains gradually became a 9 out of 10... and the pains didn't stray from it's location. So after doing some research and procrastinating.. I went to the emergency room and was emitted. With in 45 minutes, blood work and a little prostate rape later... tests came back "appendectomy".
With in 3 hours I was in the O.R. getting ready for laparoscopic surgery.

I'm recovering well. I feel great and I'm ready for this summer to begin!

(( WORD TO THE WISE: IF YOU ARE CONTEMPLATING on going to the emergency room because YOU DON'T HAVE HEALTH INSURANCE... J U S T G O ! I don't have health insurance, and god knows I can't afford it let alone a $20,000+ surgery bill... but the hospital works with you and with a Charity insurance program. The charity is going to cover 90-100% of the bill... so JUST GO! ))

PART II: "TRANSCONTINENTAL SYNTH BUILD OFF"

OHHHH Jesus! This has been crazy so far. So I just finished up drawing up the circuit board layout (which is shown in the photograph above). My next steps will be getting the good ol soldering iron out, some wire clippers, and some other crazy stuff... and start assembling.

It is a circus.

PART I: "TRANSCONTINENTAL SYNTH BUILD OFF"

My friend Andy rekindled some old thoughts of creating a sound machine / synth. Andy sent me over to some great websites for reference. So Andy and I are going to build our own synths from scratch... a "Transcontinental Synth Build Off" if you will.

So... to start off this insane journey, I picked up a dummies book, a grip of components (including a circuit board, resisters, capacitors, potentiometers, diodes, switches, and other shit), and now I'm drawing up my circuit board layout on a graph that I created to simulate the circuit board. This drawn up lay-out will help me figure out the best placement for all the components.

This is ONLY Part I hahaha!! This is going to own!

Neighbors in apartment complexes

I've lived in a couple apartment complexes over the years. The place I live in doesn't look to eccentric ...it's your basic brick shit house design much like a concentration camp. The exception to my place is that other then broken down cars.. there are no screaming children... just weird black guys jumping our fence and running through the sump.

With out a question of doubt, you will be living amongst some degenerates. I have this one guy that lives next door - rapist. I have another guy that lives across the street - ex vietnam vet... I was told he's been to jail for gun possession. I shrugged that comment off.. but it was confirmed by the guy across the street. He told me that a couple years back he won 5 Million Dollars and has guns that are worth over 50K. Awesome. He invited us to go to Atlantic City tonight.. yeah sure why not. Fuck That. Earlier in the day while my dog took a crap in the front of the gun guy's apartment... i witnessed a 30 something year old Chinese man riding his bicycle in circles around canadian geese. It reminded me of a scene from the Warriors. Well the chinese guy rode his bike over and started to bark at me and madison. Mr Khung stopped barking and started to tell me a lovely story about a 32 pound daschund and how wery wery big dorgs like to bite squirrels because they are little toys. I tried for about 10 minutes to shake him... but he followed me telling me about sororities love his fat daschund. I made my way to my door, farted and closed the door behind me.

Fantastic.

The day after...

Yesterday I finally launched the kid tokyo site. I had a couple problems with the point of sales system... so now we have to wait until Monday until we can start taking orders .

I saw about 5 minutes of the HIT tv show called "Keeping Up With The Alabaklah Kardashian's" ....that show is a pile of shit. It's blows my mind when I think of people watching shows like this. Why watch other people live their lives? Those people watching these shows are the same people that can't understand why people don't have manners, and have no respect for people or for their parents.

Crazy crazy.... sorry for ranting.

PLAYOFFS and kidTOKYO!

Now that I'm back from the Jonas Brothers tour I'm filling all of my time up with starting kid TOKYO and just having fun. The past year and a half has been a long long struggle filled with no fun, no money, and feelings of no future. But since I've gotten back I've reconnected with old friends and geting my life back on track.

So with that said...Tonight I'm finishing up the kidTOKYO website so it will be up and ready for everyone to view and make purchases. I'm also shooting the girls premium line tonight.. so those pictures will also be ready for tomorrows site launch!!

And.... last night was rad as all holy hell! Alexandra, Brixie and Tony escorted me to the RANGERS vs Devils game 1 of the eastern conference quarters. There was a lot of nail bitting, screaming and beer slammin. We had great seats and the RANGERS won 4-1.

In other news... I got a new phone today. I bought the Voyager... it's touch screen and shit ..no big deal?! This decision came to a head because I lost my blackberry on sunday... along with all my numbers. So in other words... that sucked ass.

Sooooooo check out the kidTOKYO site tomorrow!
